Why Our Mission is Our Mission
Our Vision:
The “why” for our work is rooted in our vision - a world that works for everyone, where everyone is living well, individually and collectively. We know such a reality is possible, simply because it is not impossible.
Our mission and plans are our contribution toward that vision.
Our mission:
Harness the power of causality to bring out the best in as many people as possible, in as many human systems as possible, by the end of 2026, through the questions people ask in their day-to-day lives.
Why have we chosen this as our mission? We hope the following helps explain.
Our mission:
Harness the power of causality
One of the two core tenets of Catalytic Thinking is that “our power to create powerful results lies in our power to create favorable cause-and-effect conditions towards those results.” That is why we focus our work on the power of causality.
to bring out the best in as many people as possible,
The second core tenet of Catalytic Thinking is that the most favorable conditions begin and end with bringing out the best in people vs. focusing on stuff (money, food, education).
in as many human systems as possible,
Our focus on systems is rooted in the principle that “individuals will go where systems lead them.” *
by the end of 2026,
Because we intend to accomplish our mission, we have set a 10-year clock for doing so.
through the questions people ask in their day-to-day lives.
Changing the questions we ask changes our assumptions, which will change our actions, which will change our results. Change the questions we ask, and we can bring out the best in everyone around us. When we change the questions, we really do change the world!
