Mission, Plans and Programs

Creating the Future is a place for demonstrating the power of questions to create a world that works for all of us. A "think-and-do tank," Creating the Future is a space for experimenting with questions that lead to transformational, systemic, progressive change.

Our Mission:
Rooted in the radical inclusion, radical possibility, and radical strength of the question-based Catalytic Thinking framework, our mission is to ensure that those powerful questions are the go-to in the social change ecosystem.

We accomplish this by applying the questions of Catalytic Thinking in a variety of  demonstration projects, and then sharing what we learn from those experiments.

To make it easy to share the kinds of questions that can change the world, our work is rooted in a set of practices called Catalytic Thinking.

Our plan is therefore simple (and to see more detail, click here):

Create as many ripples-in-the-pond as possible in 10 years, so that everyone, everywhere, knows how to bring out the best in themselves and the people around them through the questions they ask every day, in every situation they encounter.

Keep learning, keep pushing the boundaries, keep sharing what we learn and support others in their learning, so that others will experiment and share what they are learning, creating more ripples in the pond.

Through those ripples, create as much kindness, health and resilience as possible in the world – a world that works for everyone.

If that sounds good to you, let’s explore and experiment together!
