During our April board discussion about recruitment, it became clear that a pre-requisite for recruiting is knowing what the board is recruiting new members TO. What is the role of this board, as the organization continues to evolve? What does leadership mean when a group is leading a movement for change vs. simply leading an organization? What structures would support that?
Creating the Future’s board members have been proud to think of themselves as “a group of leaders holding themselves responsible for accomplishing our mission.” With that in mind, these are just some of the questions the board will consider during its May meeting.
