Infinite Responsibility for All Things Future |
|
|
This week’s e-journal falls on a very special day at Creating the Future.
August 21 is our co-founder Hildy Gottlieb’s 60th birthday. And today we SURPRISE her with a celebration
that honors her humanness, her thinking, her generosity, and her
commitment to support a growing collection of people to create the
future we do want – a more healthy and humane world that works for
everyone.
So first, Surprise & Happy Birthday Hildy! We hope you enjoy seeing what we’ve been secretly working on this summer.
|
|
Creating the Future -- this growing global community that you are part of - exists because of her.
Our
ten-year experiment to bring out the best in as many people as
possible, in as many human systems as possible, through the questions
people ask in their day-to-day lives exists because of her.
The Catalytic Thinking practices that are freely shared in this ejournal exist because of her.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Hildy. |
|
|
Infinite gratitude for all things past.
|
|
This surprise celebration is one way in which we honor Hildy for
the generous and compassionate human she is. For 20+ years, she has
been researching, experimenting, teaching, modeling and sharing all
that she has learned.
|
|
Infinite service for all things present.
|
|
We will bring joy to Hildy through sharing our stories.
We invite you to join fellow members of our global community, to share
your story about Hildy and the impact she and Catalytic Thinking have
made in your life, your relationships, your work, your community, and
the world as a tribute to her and her work. With more than 35 stories
posted so far, we hope you enjoy reading them and sharing your own.

You are invited to contribute to Creating the Future’s new Education Programs Fund in
Hildy’s honor. Funds will provide resources to scale what we know
works, and what the world needs now more than ever. Though many of our
Education Programs are free, including this ejournal, it takes all
forms of resources to create. Scaling is all about more people stepping
in, so we can connect and share Catalytic Thinking with anyone,
anywhere in the world.
Join us in celebrating Hildy Gottlieb, and all that she makes possible.

If you’re seeking a welcoming place to practice bringing out the best in yourself and those around you, join the Catalytic Thinking in Action community on Facebook -
a welcoming place where you can ask questions and learn from people
like you who are experimenting with these practices. We look forward to
seeing you there!

Keeping Our Programs Freely Available Most of the programs at Creating the Future are free or low cost, with liberal tuition assistance when they aren’t.
|
| If you find our programs of benefit, we hope you will consider contributing, to help keep these programs available to as many |

Creating
the
Future
is a
collection of
people around
the world,
supporting
each other in
a grand
experiment.
|
|
|
|
The
experiment:
To
determine how
much better
the world
could be if
the questions
we ask in our
day to day
lives are
bringing out
the best in
each other.
If
everyone,
everywhere, is
bringing out
the best in
every person
they encounter
– and if the
systems that
guide our
behaviors are
built to bring
out the best
in all of us -
how much
closer will we
all be to a
healthy,
humane world
that works for
all of us?
